Logo and branding for a fictional aquarium for college project.
Created for a Digital Medial class project. The goal was to design a few pages of a fake magazine, along with the front and back covers, as well as the spine. This specific magazine centers around the theme of climate change, and this issue focuses on climate change in the Artic.
Hanashi Media
Hanashi Media is a publishing company that specializes in licensing and translating Japanese light novels for English & Spanish audiences.

Recently, I've done a few freelance projects for them.
Observation Records of My Fiancée (Light Novel)

I was tasked with creating both a Table of Contents and a Title Page for vol. 1 of Hanashi Media's new series "Observation Records of My Fiancée". The decorative border design was taken from the border used in the character profile page, but enlarge and cropped so it isn't as busy or distracting. The solid and dashed lines were used to add a bit more decor to the page, and were also inspired by the lines of a notebook (such as the ones in the logo).
Typesetting & Design
Volume 1's Title Page
Volume 1's Table of Contents
This what the decorative bprder from the character page looks like. I cropped and lightened it for the TOC & Title page. As I thought it'd be too busy or distracting otherwise.
Tsukimichi (Light Novel)
Layout Design
I was asked to work on the cover for the 4th volume of their popular light novel series "Tsukimichi". Since the general design of the covers have already been decided (logo, fonts, color, etc) , my job was formatting the individual pieces to work on this specific cover. This included resizing the logo to fit, and so as to not block any characters. Also going through each item and making any changes to the outer glows, drop shadows, strokes, and colors.
Volume 4's Cover
My Pet is a Saintess (Light Novel)
Layout Design
I was asked to work on the title and index pages for My Pet is a Saintess vol 3. The goal was to replicate the design styles of the previous volumes' index and title pages.
